Advanced Silica contains a high-quality silicon dioxide. SiO² (hydrolyzed silicon) is an important, easily absorbable nutrient that strengthens the cell walls and epidermis of plants. This provides natural defenses against fungi and infections. The high concentration of silicon in Advanced Silica is easily absorbed by the plant, both through the leaves and through the roots. Various studies have shown that plants thrive better in silicon-rich soil; silicon also stimulates the absorption of other nutrients, such as phosphorus, which gives plants more energy and more active, healthy roots.
Usage and dosage:
Add Advanced Silica to the nutrient solution starting from the growth phase and continue until the flowering phase (up to week 5/6). Also applicable via foliar fertilization. Organic substrates based on peat and coconut products contain almost no natural silicon. Hydro-clay pebbles also contain silicon with low absorption. Advanced Silica is therefore a good addition to any substrate.
