The 30W UVA+UVB Supplemental Bar offers UV supplementation to the light spectrum during the flowering phase to further improve the quality of your harvest. Designed to fit directly onto Lumatek Zeus LED fixtures, this unit features integrated power and can also be daisy-chained. This technology is a powerful tool for growers interested in a unique final harvest, with better taste and aroma, while increasing extractable matter by up to 30%. It will also help control mold formation thanks to gentle doses of UV-B and reduce the need for chemical interventions due to the effect of UV-A. This unique device has been specifically designed to provide plants with ideal doses of UV-B [280-315 nm] and UV-A [315-400 nm] radiation based on scientific support. A single device can provide 2.2 kJ/day (12 hours) of UV-B energy and 518 kJ/day (12 hours) of UV-A output. This translates to 100 mW of UV-B and 12,000 mW of UV-A power. Lumatek guarantees that this fixture does not produce UV-C radiation. The daisy-chain cable will allow you to easily connect multiple devices. To ensure the unit's performance, this LED bar has a single input and output socket for the power cable or daisy-chain cable depending on use. For this reason, Power (4m) and Daisy Chain (1.5m) cables are sold separately. The 30W supplemental LED bar has been designed to fit directly onto Zeus fixtures. How to use the 30W UVA+UVB Supplemental Bar

Always include the UVB+UVA bar with the Lumatek Zeus Full Spectrum LED range, starting from 12 hours photoperiod or less during the flowering phase, at least 4 weeks before harvest. For good UV radiation spread, ensure you install the minimum recommended units and based on the distance from the canopy indicated in the strategy table. If you notice damage to the plants, it is recommended to increase the distance between the fixture and the plant or decrease the UV light emission provided by reducing the photoperiod time.
Precautions:

The 30W UVA+UVB Supplemental Bar is equipment that provides a spectrum of UVB (near UV Erythemal) and UVA (near UV-black light) electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths from 280 to 400 nm. To avoid any biological effect on the human body, please turn off the power during installation and maintenance processes. If it is not possible to deactivate the UV bars, all exposed skin must be covered with opaque material, including the face, neck, head, and hands. Other parts of the body are assumed to be covered if wearing appropriate laboratory clothing. Do not look directly at the light as the lamp's UVB radiation can damage eyes and skin. Do not restrict airflow through the devices to avoid heat buildup which could drastically reduce the lifespan of the LED bars. Do not place the LED bar in contact with any surface while it is still on. Use only on plants.
