Details
Bentonite has the ability to absorb and retain moisture that settles on leaves and fruit, creating a sort of waterproofing gel that mechanically counteracts the onset of cryptogamic diseases (fungi, including tomato and vine downy mildew) and protects against phytophagous pests. For cryptogamic diseases, the combination with chestnut tannin is highly effective. Bioki Bentonite is also useful for preparing NAB, with sulfur and lithothamnium. In winter, it can also be combined with copper. It can be used all year round. It is also suitable for use in combination with traditional antifungal treatments, where it improves their effectiveness and persistence. Product approved for organic farming. 900g pack

Bioki Bentonite characteristics

Preparation based on bentonite (montmorillonite). Bentonite is a hydrophilic clay of volcanic origin composed mainly of montmorillonite silicate (hydrated aluminum, magnesium, calcium, and sodium silicate), but also of numerous natural micronutrients. Minerals sprayed on leaves create an obstacle to the development of insects and cryptogams. Indispensable for the preparation of trunk paste. The specific characteristic of this type of bentonite lies in its ability to create a molecular bond with water, absorbing it, retaining it, and becoming, with it, a sort of waterproofing gel that mechanically counteracts the onset of cryptogamic diseases and the movement of phytophages. Bentonite is also used as an additive in animal feed. The European classification code as a food additive is E558. The absorbent power of bentonite is effective as an active absorbent for mycotoxins.

Bioki Bentonite dosage and method of use:

It is used in protective treatments at a dose of 700g/100L of water and in combination with 350g of Sulfur for the preparation of the NAB mixture (biodynamic agriculture). Excellent for use at a dose of 500g/100L of water + 200g of copper sulfate, as it creates hostile conditions for the development of cryptogams.
