The Lumatek 630W 4200K CMH Agro Lamp is a pulse-start lamp designed for use with the Lumatek 630W CMH electronic ballast and is built using high-quality ceramic arc tube technology and a specific horticultural gas blend that creates a spectral output optimal for plant growth.
CMH technology creates high-energy PAR/PPF levels with low heat at a full spectrum close to sunlight and produces healthier plant growth and higher yield. With a CRI (Color Rendering Index) > 90%, CMH is perfect for growing high-quality produce and essential oil extraction. Lumatek double-ended DE ceramic metal halide (also known as CMH/CDM/LEC) lamps are available in 4200K Vegetative and 3100K Agro CCT versions.
The PCA ceramic arc tube allows the lamp to operate at higher internal temperatures, increasing color rendering and efficiency. PCA resists interaction with the chemicals inside the tube, which stabilizes the chemical mix for the life of the lamp, thereby improving color consistency and PAR/PPF maintenance. The pulse-start technology allows for quick start-up and restrike times, longer lamp life, and increased lumen maintenance.
