The 3.6cm center hole is used for inserting 3.6cm rockwool cubes used for germination and cuttings.
How to use Rockwool for hydroponics or germination:
- Prepare a solution with water at pH 5.5.
- Submerge the cubes and let them soak for an extended period (even 24 hours).
- Remove them from the solution and let them drain well.
- At this point, they can be used in a hydroponic system, or for germination or cuttings.
