Guanokalong pellets have gained notoriety in Europe as a product of pure organic quality. Bat guano is a great resource for achieving excellent quality organic harvests, both indoors and outdoors. The nutrient content can vary depending on the bats' diet and the age of the guano. Guano produced by insectivorous bats has a higher nitrogen content, while guano from fruit-eating bats has a higher phosphorus content. In addition to providing nutrients, guano significantly improves the soil, and the structure and oxygenation of the substrate can thus be optimized. It helps to stabilize the pH, thanks to its calcium content. It also improves the substrate's retention of water and liquid nutrients. Among the less well-known advantages are its nematicidal properties due to its chitin content. It is also used as an agent for cleaning toxic waste from the soil. By improving the soil, it works optimally when mixed with worm castings, as worm compost also acts positively on the soil, thanks to its content of humic and fulvic acids, enzymes, and microbial flora.
