The Cylindrical Grommets provide a watertight connection using 9mm pipe with 30L and 47L plastic tanks.
This grommet is positioned at the bottom of the tank. If fitting a 9mm grommet (for older AQUAvalves, pre-August 2020) to an existing/non-AutoPot plastic tank, drill a 12.5mm diameter hole.
The grommet is then inserted into the hole and a length of 9mm or 6mm pipe (depending on the grommet used) is then pushed through the grommet. Push the pipe all the way through the grommet so that you can see the pipe protruding inside the tank.
All 30L and 47L AutoPot plastic tanks are now supplied pre-drilled and fitted with a 9mm Cylindrical Grommet.
