Origin and Properties

Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil
|
Vegetable oil
|
From the Helianthus Annuus, commonly called Sunflower, an oil is extracted that is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, in particular oleic (32% monounsaturated) and linoleic (54% polyunsaturated and rich in omega 6); and is extraordinarily rich in vitamin E (60 mg per 100 grams, equal to 300% of the recommended daily dose). The following are also present in the oil: vitamin B6 (fundamental for skin defenses), vitamins A, D, E, K, and among minerals, magnesium, selenium, and zinc. The high amount of vitamin E (a natural antioxidant) makes it an excellent ally against free radicals and therefore against skin aging. It exerts a moisturizing, antioxidant, stimulating, energetic, and protective effect against some degenerative diseases.

Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil

Red grapevine is used above all against free radicals and oxidative stress. Proanthocyanidins are contained in the seeds of red grapes, molecules that possess an interesting property: they are radical scavengers, that is, capable of “capturing” free radicals, neutralizing them, and making them no longer harmful to the cells of our organism. Its use in cosmetic preparations is mainly positioned as skin anti-aging, with vasoprotective and stimulating effects on microcirculation functionality.

It has a highly effective anti-aging effect and helps restore elasticity, brightness, and tone. Hemp oil prevents skin redness, helps keep the skin soft and elastic, and strengthens natural immune defenses. Very satisfactory results have also been obtained in the treatment of dry, mixed, or impure skin, as it reaches the deeper layers of the epidermis, improving its functions and intervening in the skin’s keratinization processes.
