Xtreme Gardening Azos is a natural promoter that benefits plant growth. The bacteria contained in Azos convert nitrogen into a form immediately usable by plant roots. Nitrogen is essential for the formation of vegetative matter and to support abundant growth. Azos is a highly efficient agent originally isolated in the Amazon basin, where a lack of soil, the rapid breakdown of any vegetation by hungry microbes, and environmental conditions requiring "survival growth" are a fundamental proposition of the ecosystem. The beneficial bacterium Azos specializes in the high-efficiency conversion of nitrogen in its N2 form into ammonia nitrogen (NH3), which is immediately available to the plant. Azos is so efficient that between 50% and 70% of all the nitrogen required by most crops can be provided by this organism.How to use Azos Bacteria:
Rooting cuttings and clones:- Add 4 tablespoons (65 ml) per 3.8 liters of water. Soak rockwool cubes for 10 minutes
- In a small container, mix 1 part Azos with 2 parts water
- Dip the tips of the new cuttings in the solution for 15 seconds
- Adjust the water pH to 6.0
- Add 1 tablespoon of Azos per 1 liter of water
Transplanting:
- Add Azos directly around the plant roots.
- Once every 2 weeks, for irrigation, use 2 tablespoons in 3 liters of water.
