Borosilicate glass reducer adapter for bongs with Male and Female joints

Borosilicate glass reducer adapter, total length approximately 72/75mm, available with M/M, F/F, F/M joints, fitting sizes 14mm and 18mm. The adapters are made of clear glass in the center, and frosted for the joints. There are also compact accessories called "chillum", which usually have a bowl that is an integral part of the piece, thus a single complete body; alternatively, it is possible to have a chillum with a separate downstem and bowl. The bong or water pipe is an object used for consuming, usually, flavored tobacco or aromatic herbs. Normally, bongs are designed to cool the smoke/vapor before it is inhaled, and to hold a large amount of smoke in the chamber to be drawn quickly. Many are enriched with different colors and modifications, making them a very personal and unique object.

Drawing smoke/vapor through water also serves to cool it, as it is usually very hot, and to trap larger particles and water-soluble substances. The bong can also be used with ice. Bongs often feature a sort of "pinch" or "ice catch" in the chamber, which is used to hold ice; the ice cools the smoke as it is inhaled, further reducing the unpleasant burning sensation felt in the throat.
