Canna Flush for Final Flushing during the Flowering Phase

Canna Flush is Canna’s new product dedicated to the final cleaning of the substrate and roots from any accumulated mineral salt crystals. Specially created so as not to damage the colonies of beneficial bacteria present in the soil and roots, which are necessary for the life and good health of the plant, its sole purpose is to perform a deep cleaning of the excesses that could cause a variation in the original flavor of the cultivated plant. Highly recommended if you use mineral fertilizers, rinsing with a specific product is actually a good practice for anyone who uses fertilizers for potted plants before consuming the fruits.

Why perform a substrate flush?

One of the secrets of an expert grower is the flushing method. When transitioning from one phase to another, from vegetative to flowering for example, or at the end of the plant's cycle during maturation, it is always a good idea to perform a flush to allow the plant to consume the residual substances stored within it and then start feeding on the new solution, as well as to clean the roots of any deposits or salt buildup. During the final phase of a short-cycle plant, this process will serve to purify the flowers or fruits of all substances administered during the plant's life cycle, allowing it to deplete the reserves present in the leaves and produce a natural and extraordinary maturation. In hydroponic systems, flushing is done simply by replacing the nutrient solution with plain water for a certain period (two to three days for the transition from vegetative to flowering and one week/ten days during the final phase). Canna Flush should be used for the last two weeks before harvest, once every two waterings at 2ml/liter in the case of soil cultivation, while at 4ml/liter once a week if growing in inert substrates such as coco, rock wool, or expanded clay. Canna Flush is also excellent for flushing the soil in case of dangerous over-fertilization: in this case, it can be used at a concentration of 2ml/liter.
