Cultilite's Antares LEDs are an innovation for cultivation, combining the power of two types of LEDs: COBs and diodes. Each module consists of a 66W central COB surrounded by eight 3W diodes. What makes this device unique is the COB, which can produce two light spectra. It is possible to switch from the light spectrum for the vegetative phase to the flowering one using two buttons on the LED. By using both light spectra, you get a range from 3000K to 6000K, providing plants with light that allows for complete development.
Another novelty is the 105° COB lens (a middle ground between the 90° and 120° ones, which are the most common on the market). With this lens, the light beam is concentrated where it is needed without creating dispersion. The Antares 180W LED is perfect for an 80x80cm space; in this area, the amount of lumens is very high and penetrates all parts of the plant without wasting light where it is not needed.
There are starting to be many LEDs on the market, but Antares LEDs use only Osram diodes and American-made COBs. These components ensure a longer lifespan with 50,000 working hours and efficiency far superior to similar components of Chinese manufacture.
