Cultilite Antares LEDs are an innovation for cultivation, combining the power of two types of LEDs: COBs and diodes. Each module consists of a central 66W COB surrounded by 8 3W diodes. What makes this device unique is the COB, which can produce two light spectra. It is possible to switch from the light spectrum for the vegetative phase to the flowering phase using two buttons on the LED. By using both light spectra, you get from 3000K up to 6000K, providing plants with a light that allows for complete development.
Another novelty is the 105° COB lens (a middle ground between the 90° and 120° ones, which are the most common on the market). With this lens, the light beam is concentrated where it is needed without creating dispersion. The Antares 360W LED is perfect for a 100x100cm or 120x120cm space; in this area, the amount of lumens is very high and penetrates towards all parts of the plant without light dispersion where it is not needed.
There are many LEDs on the market now, but Antares LEDs use only Osram diodes and American-made COBs. These components ensure a longer lifespan with 50,000 hours of operation and an efficiency much higher than similar components of Chinese manufacture.
