The 9mm taps are a very useful accessory. They can be inserted in-line right after the connection to the 30 or 47 L plastic tanks. This allows the water supply to be shut off in case maintenance is needed.
They can be added to the end of a system so that the tap can be opened to allow the lines to be flushed, removing any sediment or limescale buildup that might occur over time. This will only take a couple of minutes and should be done only every two weeks.
